YEAR IN REVIEW | 2023

As I reflect on the closing chapters of this year, it's with immense gratitude for the diverse and meaningful experiences it has woven.

  • The Palais Coburg Matinee celebrated its triumphant 5th season, and I had the pleasure of presenting my debut album, 'KORNGOLD & ZEISL - The Men Who Shaped Hollywood', live for the first time.

  • The journey took me from masterclasses and solo performances with the Manila Symphony Orchestra in Manila to the extraordinary second year of the Althofen Masterclasses.

  • The release of my second CD, 'Solitaire', alongside Christoph Ulrich Meier, brought us to the vibrant cities of New York and Washington DC. 

  • A captivating live string performance of Arnold Schoenberg's 'Verklärte Nacht' at the Woodstock Film Festival during the world premiere of 'Fioretta', followed by the international premiere at the Zurich Film Festival, added another memorable chapter to my musical odyssey.

  • We also dedicated a profoundly personal memorial concert to my grandfather, the magnificent Hans Rutzhofer, in Hauzenberg.

  • The journey extended to SONORO Festival in Brasov, SKUPI Kamerfest in Skopje, and KOSOVA Kamerfest in Pristina. 

  • Finally, I was honored to be part of the pre-opening concert at the European Capital of Culture Salzkammergut 2024, together with my dearest colleagues Justus Zeyen and Benno Ure.

As I eagerly anticipate the dawn of the new year, I extend my gratitude to all of you, along with my colleagues, friends, and family, for sharing these moments with me. I wish you a restful and memorable holiday season!
